In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in El Salvador showed varied performance across downloads, active users, and revenue. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends for each app.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads reaching a peak of approximately 4.6K during the week of February 17. Active users saw an increase from around 199K to 231K by mid-March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 3.9K and ending at about 1.2K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated but remained near 95K, peaking at 93K in mid-March.
